The rumoured specifications of the phone are as follows: The phone is said to sport a metallic body and is expected to come with 1280 x 1080 pixels resolution display. The phone may also feature a 2GHz processor and 2GB RAM. The expected launch price of the phone is said to be between Rs 20,000 and 25,000.
The phone is also rumoured to foster NFC, 4G and LTE capabilities. Micromax started as an IT software company, working on embedded platforms, in the year 2000. It entered mobile handset business in 2008 and by 2010 it became one of the largest Indian domestic mobile handsets company by offering a unique range of affordable devices. In 2011, Micromax entered the phablet market with the Canvas series. The handsets in the Canvas series include Canvas A100, A110, A116 and Canvas 4 which is also known as Canvas A210.
